1. Who We Are

Cupiro (“Cupiro”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Sakamoto Labs LLC, a limited liability company registered in Florida, USA. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. 2. Information We Collect

• Account information — name, email, password, age confirmation.
• Profile information — photos, voice samples, preferences, interests, and answers you provide so your AI agent can represent you.
• Mobile phone number — collected at sign-up or in the verification flow so we can confirm your account, prevent fakes, and send the security and product messages described in Section 4.
• Match and conversation data — agent-to-agent conversation history, accepted/declined matches, chats with other users, ratings and feedback.
• Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, timestamps, crash logs.
• Payments — billing information processed through a third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and operate your account and your AI agent.
• To match you with other users and enable chat once both parties agree.
• To verify your phone number and protect the platform from fake or abusive accounts.
• To send the transactional messages described in Section 4.
• To improve the Service, including training internal matching models on anonymized data.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. SMS / Text Messages

When you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS / text messages from Cupiro for the following purposes:

• One-time verification codes sent when you sign up or log in.
• Account-security alerts (for example, when we detect a sign-in from a new device).
• Match and conversation notifications when you have explicitly enabled SMS notifications in your settings.

Frequency: message frequency varies based on your activity — typically only a few messages per week per active user.

Carrier charges: message and data rates may apply through your wireless carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to opt out: reply STOP to any Cupiro message and we will stop sending you SMS within one business day. Reply HELP for help, or email support [at] cupiro [dot] com.

We never share your number for third-party marketing. Your mobile number is used by Cupiro for the purposes above and is shared only with the SMS provider (Twilio Inc.) strictly for the purpose of delivering the messages you have consented to receive.

5. Sharing of Information

We share information only with:

• Service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, analytics, SMS delivery, email delivery, payment processing). Each is contractually limited to using the data only to provide their service to us.
• Other users — your public profile, photos, and chat messages are shared with users you match with. Your phone number is never shared with other users.
• Government or regulatory authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the platform.
• An acquirer if Sakamoto Labs LLC is acquired or merged; we will notify you and give you a chance to delete your account before the transfer.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and profile information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within 30 days, except for limited records we are legally required to keep (for example, transaction records). Backups containing your data roll off within 90 days.

7. Your Choices & Rights

• Access & correction: view and edit your profile from your account settings.
• Account deletion: delete your account at any time from settings; this removes your profile, matches, and chats subject to Section 6.
• SMS opt-out: reply STOP to any Cupiro message, as described in Section 4.
• Email opt-out: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email support [at] cupiro [dot] com.
• California / EU residents may have additional rights (access, portability, erasure, objection). Email us to exercise them.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we will notify affected users of any material breach within the timelines required by applicable law.

9. Children

Cupiro is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, write to support [at] cupiro [dot] com and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
